Frequently asked questions
I live outside Seoul. Can I still use this?
Yes. Everything is handled remotely and the notarized original is sent by registered mail anywhere in Korea. You do not need to visit in person.
Which documents do I need for a visa?
It depends on your visa type and the office reviewing it. Marriage certificates, criminal record checks and degree certificates are the most common. Please confirm the exact list with the immigration office handling your case.
Do I need translation and notarization separately?
No. We handle translation, notarization, and where required apostille or embassy legalization, in one process.
Can a private document get an apostille?
Not on its own. A private document must first be notarized so that it becomes a public document, and only then can it receive an apostille. Procedures vary by receiving country, so please confirm with the office requesting your documents.
